Activity itinerary

Meet your expert guide at 11.15 am in front of the Tourist Office of the train station of Reims. Drive through the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, where some of the most prestigious estates are based (Pol Roger, Moët & Chandon). Enjoy a moment in the vineyard, acquire knowledge about the particularities of our “terroir”. You will then discover the village of Hautvillers, birthplace of the champagne, where the famous monk Dom Pérignon is buried. Be welcomed in Mareuil-sur-Ay at a typical Champagne House, Le Clos Corbier. Take part in a fun workshop on Champagne and become an expert taster in this famous sparkling wine ! Enjoy a traditional lunch which consists of homemade regional specialities paired with a variety of champagnes ​​(can be adapted to allergies or specific diets). Discover the Champagne region and visit a small producer. Stroll down the cool cellar’s corridors and glance at the immense quantity of bottles slowly maturing. Enjoy several tastings and find the best values of champagne! Your guide will drop you off at 5.15 pm, in front of Reims centre train station.
