Unlike regulated rivers, rafting Vjosa offers a natural and authentic experience, making rafting in Permet one of the most special outdoor activities in Albania.

Activity itinerary

Meet our local team at Rafting Vjosa Albania Centre in Përmet. After check-in, you will receive your rafting and safety equipment, followed by a safety briefing and paddling instructions. Travel by vehicle to the starting point near Kaludh, where you will enter the Vjosa River with a professional guide in your raft. Paddle approximately 9 km through turquoise water, river waves and the mountain scenery of the Vjosa Valley. When conditions permit, there may be opportunities to swim and enjoy the river along the route. Finish near Përmet and return to the centre, where you can change into dry clothes. Free photos and videos from your experience are included. Allow approximately 2–3 hours for the complete activity, including preparation and transfers.
