Just five minutes from central Queenstown, you get behind the wheel of a powerful off-road buggy and follow your guide through a private adventure park. Steep climbs, creek crossings, sharp corners – your guide sets the pace, while you do the driving.

After a short safety briefing and hands-on training, you head out onto the real tracks in a Yamaha Wolverine X4 – a purpose-built 4x4 machine that handles real terrain with ease. You will be surprised by what it can do, and how quickly you feel at home behind the wheel. The trails build up to summit lookout stops with panoramic views over Queenstown and the Shotover River canyon – a reward worth every climb.

No off-road experience needed – the guide keeps the group moving at a pace that works for everyone. The tour runs year-round, and full wet weather gear is provided if needed. You will never share a buggy with strangers – each vehicle holds up to 4 people, and larger groups simply get more buggies. Up to 2 drivers per buggy; extra passengers are available for a surcharge.
