Day 1: Cusco-mountain colours and thermal waters

Rainbow Mountain

We will leave Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. heading to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a typical Andean breakfast. We will continue up to 4,500 m a.s.l., the starting point of our quad bike adventure, with a brief safety orientation. We will tour the spectacular Red Valley (4,750 m a.s.l.), surrounded by reddish mountains and unique Andean landscapes. Then we will take a hike of approximately 30 minutes to the Colours Mountain viewpoint – Vinicunca (5,036 m a.s.l.), where we will have time to enjoy the landscape and take photographs. Afterwards we will return on an quad bike and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon we will travel to Pacchanta, where we will have a special experience in our Sky Dome, with a panoramic view of the majestic Apu Ausangate, near the hot springs. We will close the day with a delicious dinner in the same dome and a night under the spectacular Andean sky.

Day 2: 7 lagoons of Ausangate and Cusco

We will wake up in our Sky Dome in Pacchanta, enjoying the tranquility of the Andes and, if conditions allow, a spectacular sunrise with views of the majestic Apu Ausangate. After enjoying a delicious Andean breakfast inside the Sky Dome, we will begin our hike on the impressive 7 Lakes circuit of Ausangate. For approximately 4 to 5 hours, we will tour high mountain landscapes and see beautiful lakes of different colours and sizes, such as Puca Cocha, Patacocha, Alqacocha, Laguna Azul, and Otorongo, surrounded by imposing snow-capped mountains and unique Andean landscapes. At the end of the hike, we will return to Pacchanta to enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by the local community and, if time permits, relax again in its natural hot springs. Finally, we will begin our journey back to Cusco, arriving around 4:00 p.m.
