What you can expect

  • We will begin this tour by picking you up from your hotel in the city of Nazca, and then embark on a journey of just over 30 minutes to reach the ceremonial centre of Cahuachi, located 28 kilometres from the city.

Cahuachi means “the place where the living dwell” and spans an area of 24 square kilometres. With more than 2000 years of history, these impressive structures still hide secrets beneath the desert sands, waiting to be uncovered by explorers.

Accompanied by expert local guides, you will explore partially excavated pyramids and observe fascinating discoveries such as trophy heads, fine ancient textiles, and unique ceramics that offer a window into the past.

To complete this experience, you will visit a hidden textile workshop in the heart of Nazca, where talented local artisans have perfected their craft for generations. Be amazed by the delicate process of weaving natural fibres, dyed with ancestral pigments, and marvel at the detail and dedication that goes into each creation. This tour is more than just a visit; it is an immersion into the living cultural heritage of Nazca.

At the end of this incredible experience, we will return to the hotel in the city.
