Know before you book

  • Departures on Thursday and Saturday from Espigon at Los Peines Marina. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure for check-in.
  • A mandatory dock entrance fee of MXN 45.00 per person is required by the Marina Authority. This must be paid in cash (pesos) at the entrance.
  • Total capacity for 400 passengers with air-conditioned lounge and open-air decks, providing a much more stable experience than small boats.
  • A local Water Taxi from the ferry to the beach and vice versa costs MXN 100.00 per person. This fee is paid directly to local boatmen.
  • You will have approximately 4 hours to explore Yelapa. You can visit the beach, the waterfall, or enjoy local oceanfront restaurants.

What you can expect

Travel in comfort aboard the 'Playa del Carmen' ferry from Puerto Vallarta to the serene shores of Yelapa. With a spacious air-conditioned lounge and a total capacity for 400 passengers, you will enjoy a stable and safe journey across Banderas Bay.

During the trip, enjoy an entertaining onboard crew show and scenic views of the coastline. Once you arrive in Yelapa, take 4 hours to soak in the local charm, relax on beautiful beaches, or hike to the iconic waterfall.
