ANIMALS - PHOTOGRAPHS - LANDSCAPES
Unique photographic experience at the parrot clay lick, located on a picturesque cliff on the banks of the Tambopata River. Every morning, parrots and small macaws congregate to consume salt and clay, an activity essential to their diet and which offers visitors a fascinating spectacle of vibrant colours and natural behaviours.
During this excursion, our expert local guides not only ensure close and safe observation of the birds, but can also identify up to two species of sloths on the same route. This experience is designed for small groups of 2 to 9 travellers per guide, allowing for personalised attention and complete immersion in the natural environment of the reserve.
The estimated duration of the activity is approximately 3 hours, during which time participants can enjoy wildlife photography and learn about the importance of conservation in sustainable tourism.
