Our first stop is the historic “Tetrachori” of Souli. Feel the pulse of Greek history as you explore legendary Kougi, the site of the epic sacrifice of 1803, and the historical stone Wells. Perched at an altitude of 460 metres, the fortress offers unparalleled 360-degree panoramic views of the rugged landscape and the deep gorge carved by the Acheron River.
Serenity at the Watermills
After our descent, we find absolute serenity at the restored Souli Watermills. Under the shade of ancient plane trees and to the sound of flowing springs, you will enjoy a “Welcome Snack”, an authentic Epirotic treat featuring traditional spirits (tsipouro) or coffee, allowing you to decompress before the adventure peaks.
The Mythical Acheron: River Trekking
We continue to the region's most iconic trail: Skala Tzavelenas. This cobblestone path, suspended high above the gorge, offers the most breathtaking vantage points for photography.
