What you can expect
The first stop of the day is the beautiful town of Carrickfergus so you can have a walk around the 12th-century castle and see the stone walls and ancient harbour. You will also drive past Magheramorne Quarry which has featured in HBO’s TV series Game of Thrones and has been used to film scenes for Castle Black, Hardhome and The Wall. You will travel along the fantastic Antrim coast road with the Irish sea on your right and the Glens of Antrim on the left of the coach.
We will be passing the spectacular Glens of Antrim and crossing the Glen Dun Bridge before climbing to the top of Glen Dun and then descending into the town of Ballycastle. You will stop at the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge before moving on to the old quarry of Larrybane.
The highlight of the day is your stop at Giant's Causeway, where you will be able to walk across the stones themselves. The last stop of the day before returning to Belfast is a stop at the amazing Dark Hedges.
