We offer 3 packages for this tour—choose based on your preferences when booking:

Package 1: Transfer-only (Driver Service)
A driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you directly to Juyongguan Great Wall first. They’ll wait for you in the car park during your visit. Afterwards, the driver will transfer you to the Sacred Way of the Ming Tombs and Dingling Tomb. They’ll continue to wait in the car park while you explore, then safely send you back to your Beijing hotel after the tour. Tickets for all attractions and lunch are at your own expense.

Package 2+3 : Guided Tour
Meet your guide in your hotel’s lobby. They’ll share in-depth histories of the Great Wall and the Ming Dynasty along the 1.5-hour drive, and you’re welcome to ask questions anytime.

First Stop: Juyongguan Great Wall
Upon arrival, follow your guide to hike and explore different towers. Juyong Pass was built with multi-functional structures to ensure logistic supplies and effective management. In the Yuan Dynasty, it served as a major traffic artery from Beijing to Inner Mongolia. From the 14th to the early 20th century, numerous Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucianist temples and shrines were constructed here.

Lunch Arrangement
If you chose Package 3: Your guide will take you to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch (included in the package).

If you chose the package 2: Tickets and lunch are at your own expense. Your guide will recommend nearby local restaurants for your convenience.

Next Stops: Sacred Way & Dingling Tomb of the Ming Tombs
After lunch, proceed to the Sacred Way of the Ming Tombs. Stroll along the path and admire 18 pairs of marble figures lined up in antithesis, erected over 500 years ago. Your guide will help you gain deep insight into the Fengshui theory practised here and share more stories about the Ming Dynasty.

Then move on to Dingling Tomb. Its construction started in 1584 and was completed six years later. In 1620, Emperor Wanli and his two empresses were buried here. Explore the treasures found from the underground palace in the museum, and walk into the five-chamber underground palace to experience its grandeur.

After the tour, your guide will transfer you back to your Beijing hotel.
