You will be picked up at 7:00 a.m. at your hotel in the areas of Barra da Tijuca, São Conrado, Copacabana, Ipanema, or Leblon. We will take you back to your location at 5:00 p.m. You will be accompanied by your own dedicated tour guide, certified by the Ministry of Tourism, who has in-depth knowledge of the city and its charms and will personally take care of all the details to ensure your experience is personalised and memorable. Tickets for AquaRio, the Sugarloaf Cable Car, and the Corcovado Train are not included in the price, but we can purchase them for you so you don't have to wait in line.
This tour is not shared with other people. It is exclusive to you, your friends, and your family. The tour will be conducted in a comfortable, air-conditioned car that can accommodate up to 4 people. The tour will last approximately 10 hours, and we will make 5 stops. If you are staying in Barra da Tijuca, we will start at Leblon Beach, where we will make our first stop at the Leblon Viewpoint. There, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Leblon Beach and Ipanema Beach. From there, we continue by car along the Ipanema Beach coastline, where you will see the Cariocas' laid-back, outdoor lifestyle and learn interesting stories about the area, which was immortalised in the famous song “The Girl from Ipanema,” a global icon of the Bossa Nova musical style. We continue along the famous Copacabana Beach, home to the world's largest New Year's Eve party, as recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.
We will pass by Botafogo and Flamengo Beaches on our way to the famous Selarón Stairs in the Lapa area, our second stop. You will learn about the history of the artist Jorge Selarón and his living work, the “Selarón Stairs,” the 3rd most visited place in Rio, decorated with colourful tiles from more than 60 countries. You'll probably find some tiles from your country, too.
From there, we will drive to AquaRio, the largest marine life aquarium in Latin America, where we will make our 3rd stop. There, you can see sharks, rays, and dozens of species of fish, including the famous “Nemo” character from the Disney cartoon, or visit the Wax Museum, which features life-size replicas of world-famous personalities.
From there, we'll head to the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain, located in the Urca area, where we'll make our 4th stop. There, you can ride the famous Sugarloaf Cable Car, the setting for the James Bond 007 film. We will stop for lunch (45 to 60 min.). We will get off the cable car and continue by car to Christ the Redeemer. We will arrive at our 5th stop, Cosme Velho Train Station. We will take the little train directly to Christ the Redeemer to get a close-up view of the 7th Wonder of the World. During the journey, you can enjoy the view of the Atlantic Forest. Your guide will be by your side at all times to ensure you have an unforgettable experience, learn about the history of Christ the Redeemer, and take the best photos. Finally, we'll take you back to your location. Shall we go?
