Enjoy Santo Domingo with the freedom to stop at whatever piques your curiosity. A photo, a question, or a conversation can become one of the best souvenirs of the tour. That time is also part of the sightseeing tour.
The experience departs from Santo Domingo and is completely private, just for you and your companions. I'll pick you up from your accommodation within the city, and we'll visit its tourist sites and points of interest in a private air-conditioned vehicle. During the visits, I'll tell you the history of the places and how they relate to Dominican life today.
Before we start, we'll talk about what interests you, what you already know, and how much you want to walk. I'll suggest a route and sort out the details. You can just go with the flow and tell me what you'd like to explore in more depth. We can adjust the visits and walks according to your interests and energy levels, within the time of the option booked.
Transport and the admission fees indicated in your chosen option are included, so you can enjoy the experience with those costs already covered. You'll have time to look around, rest, and take photos. I can also help you make sure everyone is in the pictures.
And the experience will help you continue to enjoy yourself afterwards: You'll take away local recommendations for food, museums, and activities based on your interests and the time you have in Santo Domingo.
Before the sightseeing tour, we can talk about how far you can comfortably walk, whether you can climb stairs, and which attractions would be most suitable for you. Instead of making all travellers follow the same itinerary, I'll help you choose a realistic route that lets you enjoy Santo Domingo without feeling rushed.
I'll pick you up directly from your accommodation within Santo Domingo. From there, we'll start a private and well-organized tour of some of the city's most interesting spots.
Depending on your mobility and the option booked, the route may include the Faro a Colón lighthouse, the Santo Domingo Cable Car, the Malecón, easily accessible areas within the Colonial City, museums, vantage points, or other recommended stops.
Los Tres Ojos can also be included if the traveller can manage its steps, nature trails, and wet surfaces. If this is not a suitable option, we can replace it with another, more comfortable place.
Throughout the tour, you'll have time to ask questions, take photos, rest, and learn about the local context of each place. This sightseeing tour is personally guided by me, and I only accept one booking at a time, so the experience remains private, flexible, and easy to coordinate.
