Not all travellers want to or can spend several hours walking in the sun, climbing stairs, or trying to keep up with a group sightseeing tour.
This private sightseeing tour of Santo Domingo is designed for those who prefer a more comfortable, relaxed, and flexible way to get to know the city. The route, walking distance, stops, and pace can be adapted to your interests and mobility.
The experience can be especially convenient for older adults, people with limited mobility or recent injuries, or travellers who prefer shorter walks, transport between locations, and breaks when needed.
Before the sightseeing tour, we can discuss how far you can comfortably walk, whether you can climb stairs, and which attractions would be most appropriate for you. Instead of forcing all travellers to follow the same itinerary, I will help you choose a realistic route that allows you to enjoy Santo Domingo without feeling rushed.
I will pick you up directly from your accommodation within Santo Domingo. From there, we'll begin a private, well-organized tour of some of the city's most interesting spots.
Depending on your mobility and the option booked, the route may include the Faro a Colón lighthouse, the Santo Domingo cable car, the Malecón, easily accessible areas within the Ciudad Colonial, museums, vantage points, or other recommended stops.
Los Tres Ojos can also be included when the traveller can handle its stairs, nature trails, and wet surfaces. When it's not a suitable option, we can replace it with another, more comfortable place.
Throughout the tour, you'll have time to ask questions, take photos, rest, and learn about the local context of each place. This sightseeing tour is personally guided by me, and I only accept one booking at a time, so the experience remains private, flexible, and easy to coordinate.
