This is one of the most important landmarks in Riga: the Freedom Monument, unveiled in 1935 and funded by public donations. It symbolises Latvia’s independence, proclaimed in 1918.

Livu Square (Pass by)

Livu Square, named in honour of the Livonians, a Finno-Ugric people who lived here even before Riga was founded in 1201.

Bremen Town Musicians (Pass by)
