What you can expect

  • Explore Reykjadalur on a private hiking tour, accompanied by your French-speaking live guide. This experience is reserved exclusively for your group, from 1 to 5 people, so you can fully enjoy the valley and move at your own pace.

    A large part of the route, about two-thirds, takes place off the main tourist trail. You will thus discover a quieter and wilder side of Reykjadalur, far from the busiest part, with different vantage points over the valley, the mountains, and the geothermal areas.

    Throughout the hiking tour, your live guide will adapt the pace to suit your group. You will have time to take breaks, admire the scenery and enjoy the various geothermal phenomena encountered along the way.

    We will then reach the famous Reykjadalur hot river. You will have about an hour to swim and relax in water naturally heated by geothermal activity, in the heart of the Icelandic mountains.

    After swimming, we will resume the hiking tour and take a break to share a traditional picnic snack while enjoying the scenery.

    The private nature of this experience allows you to discover Reykjadalur in a different way: without a group to follow, with more freedom, and with a hiking tour tailored to your interests and your level.

    ☝ All our experiences are offered in a private group, to give you a more flexible, more comfortable day that is fully adapted to your pace. Transport is included: I can pick you up directly from your hotel, Airbnb, or the address of your choice, and then drop you off at another location at the end of the experience if that makes things easier for you, for example at the airport.

    This is a particularly convenient solution if you have not planned to rent a car: I take care of all the logistics, so you can save time, optimise your trips, and make the most of your stay in Iceland.
