What you can expect

  • Step into a world of ancient mysteries on a thrilling family adventure at the British Museum! With your private, family-friendly guide and a special Explorer Quest activity book, your kids will become mini archaeologists, solving puzzles and uncovering secrets from civilisations across the globe.

Begin in the stunning Great Court, marvelling at the soaring glass roof and grand columns. Your guide will lead you through an interactive journey, where you’ll decode the Rosetta Stone, explore the mummies of Ancient Egypt, and uncover the treasures of Sutton Hoo, an ancient ship burial filled with incredible artefacts.

Follow the quest through galleries of Greek and Roman sculptures, the Lewis Chessmen, and the Easter Island Head, each stop bringing history to life with stories, games, and hands-on discovery. Your kids will learn about gods, goddesses, and legendary heroes while actively engaging with the exhibits — not just looking at them!

End your adventure at the majestic Parthenon Marbles, imagining the myths and legends carved into stone thousands of years ago. Complete your quest with a prize for your little explorers and the option to explore the museum further or relax at the café.

Designed for families with children aged 5–10, this interactive private tour combines education, fun, and adventure to make history unforgettable.
