Starting at Douro Marina, we'll take a tour along the Douro River, passing under the bridges that connect the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. In the Ribeira area, we offer two glasses of two different Port wines, among the best and selected especially for the occasion, to accompany the delicious local starters chosen, so that you can enjoy the iconic scenery of Ribeira do Porto and D. Luís Bridge even more, which are worthy of being UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
On board, you can also purchase 1 bottle of white Vinho Verde from the beautiful region of Ponte de Lima to enjoy throughout the tour. If you would like to make any changes to the products included or add extra products, we are fully available to do so – just send us a message. We also share some local stories about the bridges and monuments that can be seen on the tour, which enhance your knowledge of the region and allow for an even deeper and more empathetic connection with this beautiful city steeped in history.
The destination will once again be the Marina da Afurada, so you can enjoy another trip along the banks of the Douro on the way back. And if you choose the Sunset Tour, you can experience one of the best sunsets in the world, highly appreciated by the locals and something that many people come to Porto to experience at least once in their lifetime.
Upon arrival, and for an even more complete experience, we recommend trying some local cuisine at one of the recommended restaurants in the area, away from the city centre, especially fresh grilled fish caught by local fishermen in the waters off our coast.
