What you can expect

Set out for a tailored exploration of Bermuda’s quaint East End. Admire the stately architecture of Hamilton, encounter the island’s sea life and fauna at the Bermuda Aquarium and Zoo, go underground at the Crystal Caves, and stroll the charming streets of UNESCO-designated St. George.

Start your tour in Hamilton, the island’s harborfront capital city, with a visit to the meticulously landscaped Government House. Walk the tropical gardens in the one-time moats of Fort Hamilton, or delve into Bermuda’s maritime past and shipwreck-filled folklore at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

Pass over the bridge at colourful, waterfront Flatt’s Village on your way to the Bermuda Aquarium and Zoo. Check out more than 200 fish species in naturalistic displays, exotic birds in a walk-through aviary, and the Local Tails exhibit for a look at animals native to Bermuda.

Next, make a stop in St. George, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dotted with landmarks and colonial homes in soft shades of pastel. At Somer’s Garden, see the grave of the shipwrecked founder of Bermuda. Admire centuries-old St. Peter’s Church, and spend some time shopping and enjoying lunch in the historic heart of the city around the replica stocks at King’s Square.

From there, descend into the subterranean caverns of the Crystal Caves, stroll the pink sand beach at John Smith’s Bay, or drop into the Glass Blowing Studio to see local artists crafting masterpieces in flames before your tour concludes.
