What you can expect

  • Set out on a journey of exploration and cultural immersion from Porto Novo to discover one of the most authentic villages in the southwest of Santo Antão: Tarrafal.

    Depart at 8:00 AM from Porto Novo in a comfortable vehicle, following a route through spectacular and varied landscapes, from green mountains to deep valleys, along winding roads with exceptional viewpoints.

    Upon arrival in Tarrafal, be welcomed into the warm setting of a local home, where you will have the opportunity to share a typical lunch prepared by the family.

    After lunch, enjoy free time to explore the village and its surroundings, and relax on the beach for a refreshing swim before taking the road back.

    Return to Porto Novo is planned for late afternoon, after a day filled with discovery, encounters and cultural immersion.
