Discover the charm of Maine's coastline on this sightseeing cruise from Portland's harbour to Fort Scammel on the privately owned House Island. Tour the only fort in Portland Harbour to have seen active combat. Sip on a refreshing drink during your cruise.
Hop aboard the spacious and comfortable ship 'Elizabeth Grace' and set sail for House Island. Capture pictures of Portland's charming skyline as you make your way to Casco Bay.
Admire views of Casco Bay’s stone fortresses which were mostly built in the early 19th century. They recall an era when the defence of the coastline was needed. Now, they’re gorgeous relics perched on the Bay’s various islands, each with its own unique identity.
Step back in time at Fort Scammel which is privately-owned and was inaccessible to the public for decades. Take in the views from the west side of this verdant 24 acre island. Return to your meeting point at the end of your tour.
