Why spend hours on a bus when you can fly? This half-day tour from Perth combines a breathtaking scenic flight with an up-close ground experience at one of Western Australia's most iconic natural landmarks — Wave Rock.
Departing Jandakot Airport, you'll fly out over Perth's city skyline, across the rolling foothills and into the wide-open expanse of outback Australia. Along the way, look down over a patchwork of colourful inland lakes, forests and farmland that you'd simply never see from the road.
After touching down, your guide will drive you straight to Wave Rock itself. Towering at 15 metres high and stretching 110 metres long, this ancient granite wave is one of Australia's most remarkable geological wonders. Arrive in the quiet of the morning, before the crowds, and take your time to soak in the spiritual stillness of the place. Walk along the base, look up at the curved wall of stone above you, and grab some truly memorable photos.
Just nearby, you'll also visit Hippo's Yawn — a lesser-known but equally fascinating rock formation that uncannily resembles a giant hippo with its mouth wide open. It's the kind of quirky natural surprise that makes this tour so memorable.
After exploring, you're welcome to enjoy optional morning tea (own expense), a wander through the local wildlife park, the Toy Museum, or Lace Place before your return flight back to Perth.
Please note: A minimum of 2 adults is required. Afternoon tours are available on request. Morning tea is not included.
