This 4 hour tour starts after we pick you up from Halifax City Centre hotel /Cruise Terminal or from your location in (within 15kms) Halifax. We will proceed to Peggy's cove light house by our Brand New 2024- Toyota Grand Highlander Car with English Speaking experienced Tour Guide/Driver. It will take around 30 minutes to reach Peggy's cove. This historic lighthouses located across the province of Nova Scotia, none is more well-known, more visited, and likely more photographed than Peggy's Point Lighthouse located in the quaint fishing village of Peggy's Cove. Built over a century ago, the lighthouse stands tall among enormous granite boulders and the crashing waves of the powerful Atlantic Ocean. Take a stroll around the lighthouse, enjoy the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, and capture some memorable photos. Visit local shops to buy souvenirs and handmade crafts. You'll find unique items that reflect the maritime culture of the region. Enjoy fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants (Optional at your own cost). Many places offer delicious lobster, fish and chips, and other maritime specialities. Try the famous Nova Scotian clam chowder. If you enjoy hiking, there are several trails in the area that offer stunning views of the coastline. The Peggy's Cove Coastal Barrens Trail is one such option. Later we will explore Swissair Flight 111 Memorial, which commemorates the victims of the Swissair Flight 111 crash. We will spend around 3 hours before we return back to Halifax. Tour Ends.
