What you can expect

Discover some of the most beautiful alpine hiking destinations near Vancouver on a guided full-day adventure. This experience is designed for active travellers who want to see more than the city and explore the mountains, lakes, and trails that make British Columbia unforgettable.

Choose from three incredible hike options: Garibaldi Lake, Joffre Lakes, or Panorama Ridge. Each hike offers a different style of mountain adventure, from turquoise glacier-fed lakes to sweeping alpine viewpoints and rugged backcountry scenery.

Your day begins with pickup in Vancouver before travelling along scenic mountain roads towards the trailhead. Once on the trail, your guide will lead the group at a steady pace, provide route support, allow time for photos and breaks, and help create a safe and enjoyable hiking experience.

Garibaldi Lake is one of British Columbia’s most iconic alpine lake hikes, with a steady forest climb leading to a stunning glacier-fed lake surrounded by mountains and alpine scenery.

Joffre Lakes is famous for its bright blue glacier-fed lakes and dramatic mountain views. The trail visits Lower, Middle, and Upper Joffre Lakes, with time for photos and breaks along the way.

Panorama Ridge is the most challenging option and rewards strong hikers with one of the best viewpoints in Garibaldi Provincial Park, overlooking Garibaldi Lake, Black Tusk, and the surrounding mountains.

These are real mountain hikes, not short sightseeing walks. Guests should be comfortable hiking uphill for several hours and spending a full day outdoors. Trail conditions can vary depending on weather, season, and park access.

The route, pace, timing, and final destination may be adjusted for safety due to weather, trail conditions, group ability, or guide assessment.
