Make Your Holiday in Palermo Unforgettable with Our Capo Zafferano Dinghy Tour

Join us for an unforgettable adventure along the stunning Sicilian coast! Our tour departs from the historic Tonnara dei Florio, near the Arenella beach, and heads south, offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of Palermo. This area is teeming with marine life if we’re lucky, we might even spot some dolphins! “Dolphins are wild and free, sightings cannot be guaranteed.”

We’ll set sail from the Tonnara dei Florio, crossing the Gulf of Palermo to reach the Baia dei Francesi, a secluded rocky beach nestled beneath a cliff, accessible only by sea or via a hidden trail. Here, we’ll stop for about an hour, giving you the chance to swim in the bay’s deep turquoise waters. Once everyone is back on board, we’ll continue our journey around the headland to reach the Arco Azzurro, a breathtaking natural arch that connects two rocky cliffs 11 metres above the sea.

From this point, the coastline becomes more rugged, dotted with small inlets, including the famous Tre Piscine. We’ll continue sailing towards Capo Zafferano, also known as Napoleon’s Hat due to its distinctive shape, reminiscent of the bicorne hat worn by Napoleon.

Upon reaching Capo Zafferano, you’ll have another chance to dive into the crystal-clear waters while we prepare a delicious aperitif to enjoy on board. After about an hour, we’ll sail towards the Capo Zafferano Lighthouse, perched at the base of an impressive rocky cliff. Our final stop will be at Scoglio della Formica, where you can snorkel around this fascinating rock formation that emerges from the sea.

After approximately six hours of exploring this extraordinary coastline, we’ll return to Palermo, bringing back unforgettable memories of this incredible adventure.

Note: Scoglio della Formica is located in open water, farther from the coast. If sea conditions are not favourable, this stop may be skipped for safety reasons.

Please note that, for guarantee the present customer, we will wait up to 10 minutes beyond the departure time, after which any absent customers will be marked as no-shows.
• This activity is not suitable for people who cannot swim! The staff reserves the right to refuse boarding to those who are unable to swim, with no right to a refund, as clearly stated.
• In case of a sudden deterioration in weather conditions during the tour, should the captain or staff decide to return to the starting point to ensure passenger safety, no refund will be issued. This is because worsening weather conditions are beyond our control and sometimes unpredictable.
