What you can expect

Explore the town hall of Florence on a 2-hour tour of Palazzo Vecchio. Visit the private apartments of the Medici family and climb to the top of the tower of Arnolfo to see Signoria Square from above.

You will visit with an expert local guide Palazzo Vecchio (Old Palace), each room decorated by artistic geniuses to celebrate the triumph of Cosimo I de’ Medici. The tour will start from the ground floor with the famous and prestigious courtyard of Michelozzo, going up to the ground floor you will discover the magnificence of the “Salone dei Cinquecento” (Hall of the Five Hundred), the largest room in Florence with his extension of 54 metres long by 22 metres wide and 17 metres high sumptuously frescoed by Vasari on the walls and on the coffered ceiling, and finely embellished with statues including the Genius of Victory by Michelangelo Buonarroti.

You will continue admiring the ducal apartments and Eleonora da Toledo’s rooms, the first Grand Duchess of Tuscany, with paintings by the major Mannerist painters, such as Bronzino

You will visit the Sala dei Gigli where you will find the original bronze statue of Judith and Holofernes by Donatello, undisputed genius of the Renaissance and inspirer of Michelangelo.

Join us for this breathtaking experience of discovering one of Florence's most important landmarks.
