If you prefer a fixed or non-changing itinerary, please be aware that Balabac’s weather can be unpredictable. Because the island is very secluded, itineraries may change from time to time for safety and logistical reasons. Sea conditions can change rapidly — boat rides between islands can be rough, especially if waves pick up or weather turns.CHANGES ON WEATHER is beyond OUR CONTROL.
This is a shared tour. The van will make multiple stops along the route. If you prefer a private van reserved exclusively for you, an upgrade is available for an additional cost.
A TOUR GUIDE is THE SERVICE COORDINATOR. The guide with you will not provide HISTORY as this is an ISLAND TOUR not A HISTORY CLASS, The coordinator will assist in your needs and manage tour schedules and changes due to weather.4.Please note that there are no luxury or modern accommodation in the town of Balabac Island. This area is very remote, and proper hotels are not available. We kindly ask guests to manage their expectations, as facilities are basic and designed for simple, rustic island living.
In case of weather changes on the day of your tour, please understand that the weather in Balabac is highly unpredictable. For everyone’s safety, the itinerary may need to be adjusted prior to leaving the mainland. We kindly ask for your consideration—weather conditions are beyond our control
6.This is an island adventure experience. Tents may already be set up for guests who arrived earlier, as the area is shared by everyone. Please note that this is public property, and the island is open to all visitors. If you are expecting a private or uncrowded location, we kindly remind you that this setting cannot be guaranteed.
Mobile signal or internet access is very unreliable or nonexistent in many islands.
8.Insects (mosquitoes, sand flies / “nik-nik”, sand mites) can be annoying or cause bites. Bring repellents (some suggest Picaridin-based) and protective clothing.
