    Itinerary:

Day 01: Port Said/ Pyramids Tour

Join Sun Pyramids Tours for a fantastic adventure in Egypt. Our agents will warmly welcome you with our Meet and Greet service, holding a sign of your name at Port Said Port upon your cruise ship arrival.
Then, you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo, approximately 4 hours, with a stop if needed to have a rest.
Once you arrive in Cairo, you will be amazed by the sight of the Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerine. These are the most famous and impressive monuments of ancient Egypt, and you will have the chance to explore them up close.

You will also visitthe Great Sphinx, a colossal statue of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, dating back to the time of Chefren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple,a sacred site connected to the Pyramid of Chefren. Next, you will drive to the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser, and it is considered the first pyramid in history. You will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo.

Day 02: Egyptian Museum / Salah Din Citadel/ Port Said

After breakfast in your hotel, your tour guide will take you to the Egyptian Museum, which showcases artefacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum houses the world’s largest and most precious collection of Egyptian artefacts, spanning over 5000 years of art and history. You will see over 250,000 genuine artefacts.

You will have lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo, then move on to Salah el Din Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. The citadel is a medieval fortress that offers a panoramic view of Cairo, and the mosque is a masterpiece of architecture, built by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849).

If time permits, you will also visit the area of Islamic Cairo, where you can explore Khan El Khalili,Cairo’s old bazaar, and shop for souvenirs of Cairo and Egypt.
