Your journey begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Cebu City, Mandaue City, or Lapu-Lapu City (Mactan). Travel comfortably in an air-conditioned vehicle along Cebu’s scenic southern coastline towards Oslob.
Upon arrival, proceed to the registration area managed by the local tourism office. Your driver-tour coordinator will assist with the registration process and securing your whale shark priority number. The activity follows a first-come, first-served queue system managed by local authorities.
Enjoy a complimentary Filipino silog breakfast while waiting for your priority number to be called. If your number is called earlier than expected, breakfast will be served after the whale shark activity.
Attend the mandatory safety and conservation briefing before boarding a traditional paddle boat. Spend approximately 20–30 minutes swimming with or observing Oslob’s famous whale sharks while following local wildlife interaction regulations. Whale sharks are wild animals, so sightings and proximity depend on natural conditions.
After your whale shark experience, continue to Tumalog Falls. Admire its beautiful curtain-like cascade, enjoy the refreshing natural surroundings, and capture memorable photos.
Next, take a boat transfer to Sumilon Island Sandbar, famous for its white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Enjoy time to swim, relax along the shore, and take beautiful photos. The sandbar’s appearance, shape, and size naturally vary depending on tides, weather, and sea conditions.
After visiting Sumilon Island, guests may choose to stop at a local restaurant or at a convenient dining place along the return route. Lunch, additional food, and drinks are not included and are entirely at the guest’s own expense.
Throughout the experience, your driver-tour coordinator will assist with transport, timing, and tour logistics.
After completing the activities, relax in your air-conditioned vehicle during the return journey to your accommodation with unforgettable memories of Oslob’s whale sharks, Tumalog Falls, and Sumilon Island.
