Start your adventure in the Oslo Fjord just like the Norwegian explorers. Take a short boat trip to the museums. After a walk in the peninsula, arrive at the Folkemuseum, an open-air museum of Norwegian heritage. See how Norwegians have lived from the 11th century until today.

Visit the Fram Museum, the museum of the polar explorers, and come aboard the ship that made it possible. See the cabins and learn how these brave men lived. Experience a replica of the northern lights and feel sub-zero temperatures inside the chill room. Visit the Gjoa vessel and listen to the storey of the Northwest Passage.

At the Kon-Tiki Museum, see the open vessel made of balsa wood that took famous explorer Thor Heyerdahl to Polynesia in a 101-day adventure. Return by bus (winter) or ferry (summer) to the city centre.
