What you can expect

Begin your day with a visit to Kanakis Olive Mill, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour and learn how traditional Cretan olive oil is produced. Guided by the olive oil producer, discover the secrets of authentic olive oil making in crete and have a chance to purchase products produced locally. Get a chance to taste olive products and cretan olive oil produced by the mill as well as cretan raki (only for 18+)

Next, head to Georgioupoli for a relaxing coffee break and free time by the sea. Stroll through the charming village, enjoy the beach atmosphere, or simply unwind at a seaside café with beautiful coastal views.

Finally, continue to Lake Kournas, the island’s only natural freshwater lake. Spend time swimming, exploring the peaceful surroundings, and having traditional Cretan dishes at one of the lakeside tavernas.
