Sitting off the most easterly point of Australia, Julian Rocks is a convergence point of warm tropical and cooler temperate waters, making it a marine wildlife hotspot.

Snorkel with whales, dolphins, manta rays, leopard sharks, grey nurse sharks and turtles. Discover a perfect environment for snorkelling and freediving with prolific fish life and multiple areas to explore. Your onboard Marine biologist will guide you to the best spots to see marine life.

Don't worry, you will be provided with a quality mask, fins and a wetsuit. Enjoy the sights of the Byron coastline onboard your comfortable vessel “Wardjum” ─ Bundjalung for a mythical sea creature. You may even encounter local dolphins and other marine life on the way to Julian Rocks. Humpback whales are a daily sight from June-November. Mantas and Leopard sharks are seen from November -May
You must be comfortable swimming in open water. We do offer pool noodles but we do not provide flotation jackets for non swimmers.
