What you can expect

  • Itinerary: Nukus - Chilpik Kala (Tower of Silence) - Kyzyl Kala - Toprak Kala - Akchakul Lake - Ayaz Kala - Khiva or Urgench (airport/hotel)

Upgrade your journey from Nukus to Khiva with a scenic exploration through the ancient lands of Khorezm.

After pickup in Nukus, travel into the Kyzylkum Desert and discover four remarkable fortresses that once formed a powerful defensive network.

Begin with Chilpyk Kala, a striking Zoroastrian site known as the “Tower of Silence,” offering panoramic views over the surrounding desert.

Continue to Toprak Kala, the former capital of ancient Khorezm, famous for its massive clay walls and palace remains.

Next, visit Kyzyl Kala, a partially restored fortress that showcases the architectural strength of this ancient civilisation.

Finally, explore Ayaz Kala, dramatically located on a hilltop with breathtaking panoramic views — a perfect place for photos and a memorable end to your journey.

After the visits, continue comfortably to Khiva with drop-off at your hotel.
