This tour begins in front of the Town Hall of Novigrad, a fishing town with a very interesting history. From there, we walk through its old streets and waterfront, where everyday life and centuries of history still overlap.
Along the way, we will explore the medieval fortress above the town and the storey of a queen who was once imprisoned there. We will move through the historic core and uncover traces of border changes, maritime life, and the people who shaped Novigrad through fishing and trade. We will also visit the Interpretation Centre of Seafaring and Fishing of the Novigrad Sea, “The House of Dežderatovića,” where traditional boats, tools, and stories of local fishermen are preserved.
The tour ends by the waterfront promenade, where the town’s history and daily life continue to meet.
5% of every tour profit is donated to humanitarian aid through the Red Cross of Obrovac. By joining the tour, you are not just a visitor, but a contributor to the local community.
