During the walk, we will explore this vibrant environment together, discovering how fruit trees, shrubs, aromatic plants, wild herbs, and medicinal species coexist in balance, creating a resilient system that requires little external intervention and promotes soil regeneration, water conservation, and biodiversity protection.
Along the route, you will learn to recognise some medicinal and aromatic plants traditionally used for natural well-being, such as lemon balm, passionflower, mint, arugula, sage, and olive leaves. You will learn about their properties and their uses in the preparation of infusions and herbal teas.
Together, we will gather some of the available herbs and prepare an herbal tea to enjoy immersed in the tranquility of the forest, surrounded by the scents and sounds of nature.
Depending on the season, you will also have the opportunity to taste the fruit grown in the Food Forest, picked directly from the plants. You will be able to taste different varieties found in the agroforestry system, including avocados, lemons, bananas, and other seasonal fruits, discovering how these crops can thrive in a biodiverse and regenerative environment.
