What you can expect
Departing from Taormina, Catania, Syracuse, or Porto, this private tour will take you on a journey to discover one of the most fascinating itineraries in Sicily, where the Baroque of Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, meets the local wine tradition.
Travelling through the landscapes of Sicily, you will reach Noto, often called the “stone garden” for the harmony of its Baroque architecture. Strolling along the famous Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the monumental heart of the city, you will discover some of the most iconic places in the historic centre.
During the visit, you will admire Palazzo Nicolaci, famous for its balconies decorated with mythological figures carved in stone, Palazzo Ducezio, the town hall with its impressive Hall of Mirrors and panoramic terrace overlooking the Cathedral, and the refined Teatro Tina Di Lorenzo, a historic 19th-century theatre.
As a private tour, the experience can be tailored to your needs, allowing you to experience Noto with greater freedom among its squares, elegant historic buildings, and Baroque views.
The journey continues through the hills of the Noto countryside, a Mediterranean landscape of vineyards, olive groves, and citrus orchards that tells the storey of Sicily's agricultural soul.
Here you will reach a winery surrounded by nature, where tradition and innovation meet. You will be welcomed in a charming 18th-century baglio, the heart of the property, and you will discover the wine journey from vineyard to bottle by visiting the vineyards, the cellar and the barrique room, where the wines mature in oak barrels.
The experience ends with a guided tasting of 6 wines, accompanied by Sicilia PGI extra-virgin olive oil and typical local products.
