This two-day circular hiking tour starts in the village of Krasno (714 m / 2,343 ft) and ascends to the Zavižan ridge, exploring the highlights of Northern Velebit before returning to Krasno. Overnight accommodation is provided at the Zavižan Mountain Hut.
The tour is designed for hikers with basic mountain hiking experience and a good level of physical fitness.
During the adventure, you will summit three scenic peaks:
- Velika Kosa
- Balinovac
- Veliki Zavižan
Along the way, you'll experience spectacular karst landscapes, mountain forests, panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Adriatic Sea, and the unique wilderness of Northern Velebit.
