Day 01: Arrival at NJP / Bagdogra – Transfer to Darjeeling (75 km / 3 hrs.)
Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), meet our representative who will assist you with a smooth transfer to Darjeeling — lovingly called the “Queen of the Hills.” Drive through scenic tea estates and rolling valleys. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along the Mall Road or enjoy a cup of authentic Darjeeling tea while admiring the mountain views. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 02: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
Wake up early for an excursion to Tiger Hill (8,400 ft) to witness the spectacular sunrise over the snow-clad peaks of Mt. Kanchenjunga — the world’s third-highest mountain. On your way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop, a unique engineering marvel offering panoramic views.
Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (home to rare Himalayan species)
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing including, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock and Gombu Rock, Tea Garden for a glimpse of tea processing. Spend the evening at leisure or explore the local markets. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 03: Darjeeling – Gangtok (100 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Gangtok, the vibrant capital of Sikkim. The journey offers picturesque landscapes, lush valleys, and river views.
Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, stroll along the lively MG Marg, famous for cafes, shops, and local handicrafts.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 04: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) — a glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks, revered by locals for its spiritual significance. Enjoy the serene beauty and take an optional yak ride along the lake’s edge. Next, visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, dedicated to the Indian Army soldier known as the “Hero of Nathula.”
Return to Gangtok by evening and enjoy some free time for shopping or relaxation. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 05: Gangtok – NJP / Bagdogra (125 km / 4.5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Take back beautiful memories of the misty hills, smiling people, and the serene charm of Darjeeling and Gangtok.
