Get ready for classic Texas tubing on the beautiful, spring-fed Comal River in New Braunfels. This relaxing yet adventurous float lasts about 2.5 hours and includes three rapids—perfect for anyone looking to cool off and enjoy a fun day on the water.
After you check in, you’ll receive your tube rental and instructions to help you prepare for a safe float. Then hop on the included shuttle transport to reach the river entrance and start your trip downstream. Along the route, you’ll experience three rapids, starting with the Tube Chute (Class II). If you’re not a strong swimmer, wearing a life jacket is strongly recommended.
The Comal River stays around 72°F year-round, making it a refreshing choice in any season. Be sure to wear water shoes for walking to and from the shuttle buses and for protection from sharp rocks, and only bring items you’re comfortable getting wet—or possibly losing.
To keep the river enjoyable for everyone, all floaters should follow the City of New Braunfels river rules (including restrictions on disposable containers, glass/foam/aluminium/plastic containers, littering, and noise). Need last-minute essentials? On-site merchandise and supplies are available for purchase to help you have a smooth, spectacular river day.
Please note: the last shuttle to the river entrance departs at 4:00 PM.
