To the northwest of Nazca is the María Reiche Museum, the place where María Reiche carried out her research on the Nazca Lines.

The Reiche house has now been converted into a cosy educational museum where we'll find the first aerial photographs taken of the lines, as well as the maps and scale plans prepared by Dr. Reiche. An exhibition room for Nazca pottery. This is also the final resting place of Maria and her sister Renate Reiche.

We head towards the Artificial Vantage Point located 20 km from Nazca, the only point from which, at a height of 12 metres, we can see the figures of the tree, the hands, and the lizard.

We continue our tour with the ascent to the Natural Vantage Point, a small mountain, from where several kilometer-long lines converge, two of which indicate the exact position where the sun sets during the summer and winter solstices.
