Every Thursday, from 7:00 PM to 11:45 PM, a cultural evening at Casa do Seu Jerimum.

The Casa is themed as a rural village in the Brazilian Northeast, featuring a small church, traditional matuta houses, markets, a “barraca do beijo” (a traditional food stand), and more. We offer a kitchen serving local cuisine with delicious dishes and a variety of drinks.

The event starts at 7:00 PM with music and a dance performance.

Next comes poetry and plenty of “Pé de Serra” forró.

This is followed by “cantoria de repente” (impromptu singing) and a cultural performance that culminates in an incredible accordionists’ challenge.

At the climax of the evening, you will join a matuta dance group to further immerse yourself in our culture.
