  • Discover the birthplace of refined Japanese sake on a 3-hour small-group walking tour through historic Naramachi. Visit two local sake breweries and a area sake shop, enjoy around 10 tastings with all scheduled tasting fees included, and learn how to understand sake styles, flavours, labels, and brewing traditions.

    Your tour is led by a carefully trained local Japanese guide from Kampai Sake Tours, sake-tour specialists since 2017 with more than 1,000 tours operated. Our team includes certified sake professionals and even a former toji, or sake brewmaster.
