Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Maasai Mara | Check-In & Introduction Game Drive

Get picked up from your Nairobi hotel early in the morning and transfer to Wilson Airport for a scheduled domestic flight to the Maasai Mara. The flight offers aerial views of the Great Rift Valley and surrounding landscapes.

On arrival at the Maasai Mara airstrip, meet your safari guide and your tour vehicle. Begin a game drive immediately, allowing you to spot wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and antelopes while driving towards the camp.

Upon arrival at the mid-range tented camp or lodge, check in, receive a short orientation about the camp and safari schedule, and settle into your en-suite accommodation. Lunch is served at the camp, followed by time to rest and freshen up.

In the late afternoon, depart for a guided game drive focusing on nearby wildlife territories and open plains. The drive ends at sunset, after which you return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Early Morning Game Drive | Wildlife Tracking & Afternoon Exploration

After breakfast, choose between a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the reserve or a relaxed schedule with morning and afternoon game drives.

Start the day early with a sunrise game drive, the best time to observe predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they hunt or return from hunting. Learn about animal behaviour, tracking techniques, and the Mara ecosystem from your guide. Spend extended time in wildlife-rich areas, including rivers where hippos and crocodiles are often seen. In migration season, guides focus on herd movements and crossing points. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated scenic spot before continuing the safari.

In the afternoon, head out for another private game drive, exploring a different section of the reserve, including riverbanks, plains, and woodland areas. The drive offers opportunities for photography and extended wildlife viewing before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari Experience or Split Game Drives

Enjoy your breakfast while taking in the beautiful morning views and the surrounding landscape. After checking out from the lodge or camp, prepare for your journey back to Nairobi.

You have the option to visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture and traditions.

You will then take a flight from Maasai Mara to Nairobi, where you will be picked up at Wilson Airport and dropped off at your hotel or your desired location.
