Overview

  • Ride the exclusive Hokusai Special Train between Mishima and Fujinomiya Stations on a route not normally accessible to regular passengers. Inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's famous Thirty six Views of Mount Fuji, the train celebrates the artist's legacy through unique designs and onboard stories. Enjoy scenic views with special stops and slower operating speeds for a closer look at the landscapes surrounding Japan's most iconic mountain. You can also choose an option that includes the JR Mt. Fuji 2 Day Enjoy Pass, an excursion ticket exclusive to this tour that allows unlimited travel on eligible trains, buses, ropeways, and cruises throughout Shizuoka Prefecture on the day of the tour and the following day.

Meet in front of the lift hall on the 1st floor of the Fujisan Mishima Tokyu Hotel and transfer to the Hokusai Special Train for a scenic ride towards Fujinomiya Station. Be immersed in the worldview of Katsushika Hokusai, who was famous for his ukiyo-e woodblock prints. Enjoy stopping for photos and slow driving at spots depicted in the Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji.
