What you can expect

Experience Japan’s national sport in the most iconic setting imaginable — beneath the majestic presence of Mt. Fuji.

Held inside an elevated outdoor venue at Lake Yamanaka, this is the only place in Japan where you can witness authentic sumo rituals and powerful matches with unobstructed views of the country’s most sacred mountain.

Professional wrestlers perform traditional pre-match ceremonies, followed by thrilling bouts that demonstrate the strength, strategy, and spirit of sumo. Live English commentary explains the history and symbolism behind each ritual.

Selected guests are invited into the sacred ring for the Sumo Challenge — a rare opportunity to test your strength against a professional wrestler in a safe and interactive experience.

Daily shows at 11:30 / 14:00 / 16:30
Duration: approximately 50 minutes.

On rainy days, the show moves indoors to our
covered 3rd-floor venue — the show always goes on.
