Enjoy a relaxing day away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo on a bus tour to Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. Board the bus from Toranomon Hills in Tokyo and watch the metropolis melt away into the beautiful Japanese countryside. Enjoy 2.5 hours of free time to ride the Hakone Cable Car, enjoy a serene boat ride on Lake Kawaguchi, and enjoy the ropeway on your own.
Start your day at Mt. Fuji 5th Station and take in one of the most iconic views of Japan. We will drive up to the middle point of Mt. Fuji at 2,305 metres, the highest point accessible by car, where you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mount Fuji from above the clouds. If the 5th Station is unreachable due to safety reasons, we will pivot to Oshino Hakkai, an idyllic town with lakes formed from melted snow and underground springs.
We'll make a stop at Fuji Q Highland around lunch time, where you can enjoy either a buffet style lunch or light fare of bread and drinks, depending on the option you select. You can also arrange your own lunch if you choose the option without lunch.
At Kawaguchiko, your tour guide will hand you your tickets for the ropeway, cable car, and sightseeing cruise, giving you the freedom to explore the area on your own.
Head to the Panoromic Ropeway cable car! The cable car is connected to the top of the mountain at an altitude of 1,075 metres - you can reach the top in just 3 minutes! From the observation deck, in addition to overlooking Lake Kawaguchi, you also enjoy a superb view of Mount Fuji and the Southern Japanese Alps.
If you make your way down the mountain, you can enjoy the Kawaguchiko boat cruise. Set sail from Appare Pier and cruise under the Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge to swing by Unoshima, the only island in the Fuji Five Lakes.
After your day full of sightseeing and nature, enjoy a comfortable ride back to Tokyo.
