The Mount Fansipan ascent is a must for hikers who want to experience the scenery, fresh air, and clear skies of Northern Vietnam. Starting in Sapa, it rises up to a peak of 3,143 metres - the highest mountain in Indochina. This trek can only be undertaken with a guide as administrative procedures are required by the local authorities.

At 5:30 AM, you will be picked up from anywhere in Sapa and then driven to Tram Tonne Pass. The hike begins here and continues through rolling hills until you reach an altitude of 3,143 metres where you can take in the breathtaking views and feel the crisp air above the clouds. After lunch at 12 PM, you'll start heading back down and finish your descent by 4:00 PM and be dropped off back at your starting point.

Given the length of this trek (approximately 24 kilometres) and changing terrain at higher altitudes, this hike requires a high level of physical fitness as well as proper clothing, shoes/boots, snacks/water supplies, rain gear and sun protection such as hats or etc…
