What you can expect

Welcome to Montevideo! In addition to history, culture, gastronomy, and the most colourful and incredible skies you have ever seen, our city has a lot to offer. At the southern tip of the continent, Montevideo boasts the world's longest coastline and the widest river, the Río de la Plata, named after Spanish navigator Juan Díaz de Solís in 1516.

Ride through the streets as you discover the most emblematic places of our city with a local guide. Learn about the Society of the Snow at the Andes Museum, see a performance at the Solís Theatre, and sample local cuisine.
