What you can expect

During the experience, you'll get to know the cocoa fruit inside and out, and you'll participate in the traditional roasting of the beans. Through aromas, textures, and flavours, you'll learn to identify its different phases, from the raw bean to caramelised cocoa. You'll try cocoa in various forms: as a bean, as a hot drink in a cup, in an artisanal Baileys-style liqueur, and as a natural face mask.

One of the most special moments is making your own chocolate bar, from grinding the cocoa to the final mould. All in a close and friendly atmosphere, ideal for all ages.

The workshop lasts about 50 to 60 minutes and is held at Casa Jocolate, where you can also buy homemade organic cocoa products. An immersive experience that activates all your senses and connects you with the essence of the Sierra Nevada.
