What you can expect

We will meet in my workshop in Trypiti Village. Enjoy the house tour and be prepared for a timetravel to the past of Milos and the way of life of the locals. Experience a traditional Cycladic house over 300 years old made of stone and soil. Go back in time to when the inhabitants of the island were baking their food in built-in ovens and making their own wine in handmade wine-presses.

Inside the house, see an exhibition with wooden handmade creations. Learn about the different types of wood that are used and see the place where all these creations are made and the tools that are used.

Live the experience of forming your own unique wooden bag with the supervision of the host. Choose the materials that will be used from a variety of colours and different styles,customise the bag and write inside the bag a dedication or something to remember. The wooden bag that you create will be yours to take home.

At the end, if you have time, rest and enjoy the great view of the house while discussing your experience with a cold refreshing drink.
