What you can expect

  • The three-hour hike is not intended to satisfy high-performance athletes; rather, you should get to know the passion of the winemakers, the love of enjoyment, and the joie de vivre of the Meissners as you follow in the footsteps of viticulture on the left or right bank of the Elbe.
    Learn more about the manual work in the historic steep slopes and about the wine-growing tradition. Of course, a gourmet stop with fantastic views is a must.

    Note: We recommend sturdy footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather conditions. This way, you can enjoy the tour in any weather. As with any hike, you should bring a bottle of water and something to eat.
